A kid from the 90s
disney
Growing up, I was so into Disney. My aunt would give me loads of VHS tapes ranging from Cinderella, The Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, Lady and the Tramp, Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, etc.. and I'd always pretend as if I'm one of the characters. One instance that I'd never forget is pretending I'm one of Aurora's three fairy godmothers. Hell, I even got make-believe pots and pans for their baking part.

music
My taste in music now is highly influenced by my dad and brother. If you're asking about my mom, well it's because she's not much into music. Let's say she's just open about it. lol.

Afternoons are spent lying on my bed and  listening to my brother's New Found Glory, or Blink tunes. Then there would be The Cure, Third Eye Blind, and of course, like any other kid before, Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block. Hell yeah! And may I add that I knew and still know their lyrics by heart. Oh, and remember Point Break's "Freaky Time"? It would always be my LSS and I was too naive to actually take time and understand the lyrics. Gah. Imagine a 4 year old singing that song.O_O And my dad, he's very much into Santana, Bon Jovi, Beatles, Michael Learns To Rock, and all those goodness. Thinking about those times, I'd have no qualms living those memories again.

games
Being a girl, of course, I have Barbie dolls (and you can see them displayed somewhere in our house). The problem is they really are for display..or my experiments (e.g. cutting their hair, coloring their faces) from time to time. I'd always resort to my brother's toy guns and whatnots since (1) they're fun to play with, and (2) they actually do something. Barbie dolls are just there probably blinding you since you were a kid what perfection really is.T___T Then there were those family computers where I played tetris, Mortal Combat, etc.. Game Boys, Tamagotchis..AAAAHH I miss them all!

There really is nothing wrong reminiscing about anything that had happened in your life. Always remember, though, that we should live for today. Not the past or the future. Carry those memories you have wherever you go, just don't get caught up in the process and forget that you have today to make the most out of. :)
